Chef Can Karatas brings the authentic flavors of Turkiye to every plate at Truva Bar & Grill. Growing up in a family where culinary tradition ran deep, he learned the art of cooking from his parents and embraced recipes passed down through generations.
Before opening Truva in Colleyville, Chef Karatas honed his craft across North Texas, helping establish beloved restaurants such as Istanbul Cuisine in Flower Mound and Southlake, as well as the historic Flying Carpet Turkish Cafe in Fort Worth.
At Truva, he combines this wealth of experience with a passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients, creating dishes that honor tradition while offering a modern, elevated dining experience.
